I was mistaken when I thought that I would update a lot during the sembreak. I've been free for an entire week yet this is still my third entry. Ahahaha. Come to think of it, I posted more entries when I still had schoolwork to think about. Heh. XD

So what I've been up to lately... Hmmm. Nothing much. I did manage to do things that don't involve screensucking. I cleaned my room and I went out with my friends... and... and... uhh, that's all, actually. *bricked* I didn't get around to organizing my high school stuff like I said I would... but I organized my computer files!! Sooo, hooray? XD

A movie review. Ish. I don't usually talk about the movies I watch, but this time, I really couldn't help it. This afternoon, I watched "The Seeker: The Dark is Rising" with bornwilde, Alyssa, and MM. Now that movie was LAME... but you know what? I enjoyed it. It was funny. Not the good kind of funny, but the "it's-so-ridiculous-i'm-LMAO" funny. The acting was bad, the plot was cliched and the lines were so cheesy. It was a bad mix of Harry Potter + Lord of the Rings + Alien vs. Predator. LOL. Oh, and have I mentioned that there were incest-y vibes going on? I kid you not. XD

It was relaxing at first, but now it's just annoying. Cause now I'm sick. *sniffle, sniffle* All I want to do is go to bed, but sadly, time does not allow it. There are so many things I need to do this weekend and I have to get started working on them NOW since I've been putting them off for the last two days~ Ehe. Me studying on a Friday night... who would've thought.

Yesterday, I dashed off to STC immediately after my Comm-1 class ended. I was hoping to catch the cheer dance performances of the high school students... too bad I didn't. Boo. I was just in time for lunch though, so a few of my HS friends and I headed straight to Asle (where else?). While waiting for our food to be served, Kor, Gallardo, and I had a trip down memory lane as we watched a video of our own cheer dance on Rane's iPod. As cliche as it sounds, it really feels as if it was only yesterday.... 8DD

OH YEAH, OH YEAH. I played hooky for the first time!!! Waha!!! (skipping NSTP doesn't count) I skipped Math so I could stay in STC a little longer. My accountancy friends (yes, I label my friends based on their courses. XD) had this project to do for school so it was only tonksified, doublesharp and I left. We went  to the field to watch the soccer game and then it started RAINING. Even though I had my very ghei baby pink umbrella with me, I still got wet. And now I'm sick. This is what I get for skipping class. x_x

1. study about Cations and Anions. AGAIN. Gah. I thought I was done with this shit.
2. make a scrapbook about my hometown for History class.
3. think of a political issue as a topic for our term paper. Suggestions, anyone?
4. research for our presentation regarding Advertising and PR. 
5. read my PolSci books.

Intramurals Report: I wasn't around much during the games. I was either helping out at the UP-Toyo workshop or hanging out with my friends at the secretariat table. I am lazy and I lack team spirit. The Humanities Division only won in the cheer dance competition. Unfortunately, I missed their performance. Boohoo. I was in Brgy. Luz at that time, accompanying the Toyo students, making sure they don't get lost. XD

I'll write more about my UP-Toyo experience next time... I'm still waiting for my classmate Mai-mai to upload the pictures. LOL. XDDD
 

I AM OFFICIALLY A COLLEGE STUDENT... and I'm proud to tell ya that I survived the first day! Hurrah, hurrah. A round of applause, if you don't mind. ;-)

The day started out really really really SUCKY. It was freaking hot in the lobby and the orientation was sooo boring. A total snooze-fest. There were even students who fell asleep. Thanks to Vera and Egg's text messages, I was awake throughout the entire program. (Another Hurrah for the fact that I can bring a cellphone to school now. Wee~)

Things started to look up during the afternoon orientation, when we were no longer mixed with the other divisions. It was purely a Mass Communications students' affair. It was Pirates of the Carribean inspired; complete with eyepatches, treasure maps, treasure chests made out of cardboard, and of course, a message in a mineral water bottle. Then our hosts were Calypso, Will, and Elizabeth.

I thought the dude in a costume (which was not so pirate-y, btw), who first got up on the platform, was "Will". Turns out, he was actually "Elizabeth." And hands down to the lady who played "Calypso". She was awesome. Her fake Jamaican accent sounded cool, but she stopped using it in the middle of the presentation cause she claimed it was tiring. Oh well.
