Benazir Bhutto was one amazing lady. She was the first woman to be elected to office in a Muslim state. She became Prime Minister of Pakistan at the young age of 35. That was in 1988.

She died today.

I only knew she existed about 10 minutes ago.

~ ~ ~

My dad came in the room and said, "Bhutto's dead!" and I was like, "who?"
He replied, "Benazir Bhutto." As if that answered my question.
Then he left in a hurry for the living room to watch CNN.

So I tried my luck with my sister and asked, "Who died?"
"Benazir Bhutto."
"Who's that?"
"Oh my gosh, you don't know her?"
And she left to join my Dad.

I live with know-it-alls. Help me.

I've finally installed Macromedia Director in my PC. Hurrah, hurrah. Now the problem is, I completely forgot what I learned in multimedia class last summer. I have absolutely no idea where to start! I even forgot all those keyboard shortcuts I mastered. Daaaaammiiiiit. I have less than 24 hours to figure out how to use this program and to actually make the project. Gah.

Or maybe I should just use the ol' trusty MS PowerPoint instead... Hmmm.

I hit another car. Baaah. I admit, it was really careless and stupid of me not to look at the rearview mirror while I was driving reverse. Oh well.

It was a good thing that the owner of the victimized vehicle didn't freak out. Though I really wouldn't blame her if she did since her car was just parking there, totally immobile and all.

Surprisingly, my dad didn't get mad, too. I was expecting him to blow up with utmost rage like the last time, but he didn't. This is so not normal. I was seriously fighting the urge to ask him if he was really my father when we were talking about it over the phone. It's such an irony considering that the last time I damaged his car resulted with a veeeeeeery little scratch on its sideview mirror and he was so pissed. And now, when I left a huge dent on that lady's car, he's not? Hmmm...

Oh well. Hooray for insurance.
