My teacher returned one of my reaction papers this morning. There are "/she" written all over it. She gave me a 7/10. Apparently, I am not gender-sensitive. Highlight of the day. LOL. XP

I want to write more (about last night's Shounen Club and my short visit to my high school today). I want to check my f-page. I want to read that Jin thing yum_gums made me read. I want to make chika with derschatzi about dude. I want to ask doublesharp how she got home. But schoolwork has rendered me sleepy and tired. So I'm off to bed now. x_x

Plus, I have a 7:30 am class ~~tomorrow~~ today.

Cramming is never fun, but that doesn't stop me from doing it over and over again. 8D I think it's a... student thing...? Or maybe it's just me. Oh, wth. The good news is I'm finally done with one of my SocSci papers. One more to go!! Haha!! For the second paper, I just have to write about my experiences and feelings about college. Easy. I've been in college for only seven months. That shouldn't be long.

Check out my new layout and header. I took the picture of the bridge myself. I'm pretty proud of that, considering that I was on a moving touris bus when I took that. XD. Ignore the badly-placed text, okay? It's small, barely readable and not pretty. Photoshop newbie here. XD As for my new layout- I love it. It's box-y and it looks so neat. It makes the OC-girl in me super happy. LOL. I'll probably be using this for a looong time, or until I come across another layout that's as box-y and organized-looking. XDD

Like when H!S!Jump debuted, I was supposed to study for a math exam, but there I was, angsting over the loss of Ya-Ya-Yah. LOL.

OHYEA. I drove alone for the first time today! XD But that doesn't really matter now, now that there are many Uchi news to read, download, squeal and flail at. 8D

My internet was (and still is!) being a brat. Got kicked out of Y!M many times. Couldn't check my friends page, email, & etc without being interrupted. Couldn't do anything.

So I played with Photoshop instead.
... then it took me forever to upload the header to imageshack.

I'm hoping that after I click the "post to vreemd23" button, I will not be greeted with a "network error" page. >.<

Benazir Bhutto was one amazing lady. She was the first woman to be elected to office in a Muslim state. She became Prime Minister of Pakistan at the young age of 35. That was in 1988.

She died today.

I only knew she existed about 10 minutes ago.

Second post today, yo.

So how was your Christmas, everyone? Did you have fun? I hope you did. I... Me... Christmas at our house was fine. It was okay. Not bad, but not memorable either. ~~Boring~~. I spent half of the night online, converting videos and fixing yum_gums eljay. Last year's celebration was better. ~_~

I got the gift I asked from my Dad on the 26th. LOL. He gave me a 160GB hard disk. 8D. I originally asked for 250GB, but when he went to the shop, they only had 160GB available and the sales person sales-talked him into buying that one instead. Whaaaa. Oh, father. x_x. Now, I'm organizing my files, classifying them according to personal, school, and fandom. XDD

OH YEAH! I got my driver's license on the 26th, too. I had my photo taken twice because I was wearing a sleveless top and the lady at the releasing window didn't approve of it. Nyahaha...

Moving on~

My friend Korki showed this to me just now... and it's really, really interesting. This guy is a very good dancer. He's the producer of Rain and the Wonder Girls. He writes the songs and choreographs the dance moves. Pretty awesome, no?

Another day, another blog entry. I'm so excited and happy and high, can you tell? Wahaha XD

To satisfy the christmas spirit within me, I tagged along with my parents to the misa del gallo this morning. It was super chilly when my mom woke me up at 4:30 so it was very, very tempting not to get up. After 10 minutes or so, I did get up, then I changed (I looked like a druggie, btw, since I was in a hurry). I'm glad that I did go with them because if I do complete the nine days of simbang gabi this year, it will be my third year to do so. :DDDDD

For those who don't know, the misa del gallo or simbang gabi is a Filipino tradition where we go to mass at dawn everyday from the 16th of December until the 24th. It started during the Spanish period when the priests held early masses for the farmers who couldn't leave their fields during the day. (Credits to Wiki)

Anyhoo. During the mass, there was this grandpa who bobbed his head to the sound of the choir singing "Silent Night." LOL. Rock on, Lolo! Wahahaha XD. His grandchild (or child.) looked up at him in awe. Oh yea. LOL. Now there are two things that pop in my head whenever I hear this song: rocker grandpa and NewS' performance of "Sirent Night" ~~where Koyama was caught lip-synching~~. XD

When we went out of the church, I saw my former high school classmate at the parking lot. The last time I saw her was about eight months ago. Sadly, I wasn't able to say hi because she was five/six cars away from me. Anyhow. She gained weight like woah!! o_O. Or maybe it was just my imagination. She was far from me, after all.

So I went to an internet cafe during my long break because I had to print something for class. While preparing the document, I logged on to livejournal. Server not found. I thought it was an eljay problem so I went to other sites instead. Sever not found. Gah. I called the lady at the counter and told her what was wrong. Then she said really loudly, "Dili mu-connect sa friendster?" WTF. Then I realized the site I was trying to access was Friendster. Gah. Stupid, stupid. The person next to me snickered. I'm sure all those who heard thought that all I do with my spare time is check my friendster account. Whoopdeedoo. >_<

+ Instead of doing homework, I made a header and changed my friends-only banner. I'm a very responsible student, I know. It's the first time I made a header and I'm quite glad with how it turned out. *beams* It's simple (Photoshop newbie here) but I love it so much. I guess it's partly the feeling of satisfaction of using your own creation.

+ The header and the banner both features dong bang....... hmmm....... Perhaps the dbsk fangirl in me (that's been kind of dead) is coming back? Wahaha. I'm sooooo fickle, it's crazy. Also, their new photobook is too pretty to resist. :D

+ I had enough of the ads so I changed my LJ account back to basic. Bye-bye, icons!

+ Kat (yum_gums) and I were hanging out at the kiddie section of National Book Store yesterday, watching the news concert on her ipod when this kid about four-years-old suddenly plopped himself between us. He pointed at the ipod and said something that sounded a lot like "news." I was like, "did he just say news?" LOL. It was probably "shooz" or "wooz" or something, but because I'm lame let's pretend that he did say "NewS." XD

+ MegaUpload is my new laaav. I had thought that MU only works on Internet Explorer and since I don't use that browser and there's no way I'll ever be using that, I thought I was doomed to depend on MediaFire/Sendspace/etc. links for the rest of my life. Not anymore~ It was only last night that I found out it also works on FireFox. Squeee~ :D

+ Our Christmas tree is lost. Yes, lost. My mom was going to put up the Christmas decorations today, however she couldn't find the tree. WTF. -.-

+ I haven't seen the movie 'Enchanted' yet, but the song 'So Close' is already stuck in my head. bornwilde, this is all your fault!!! XD. My friend Korki and I made plans to watch it last Friday, the sad thing is I woke up late that day. Ahahahaha XD. All my friends have seen it so now I have nobody to watch it with >_< I think I'll go watch it alone... LOL. My college friends are of a different story. Two of my closest college buddies are always busy with Youth For Christ. In fact, they're in a youth camp right now... soooooo yeah, it's set. I will be watching that movie alone. I will watch a romantic comedy alone. How sad.

+ LTO is hell. I want a fixer to get my license for me, but my Dad's such dweeb and refuses to hire one so I have to go back to LTO this Wednesday. Gaaarrrr!!! DX

+ I'm not sure if I already mentioned this in a previous post, here it goes anyway. I still have PolSci and NSTP this semester. And yes, I still hate those two. Rarrr.

... and now, I shall go and have lunch then start studying for my first PolSci exam. XD

... just so I can get rid of these annoying ads. I know I could always switch back to a basic account and be ad-free, but I don't want to lose the extra icon space and storage space. 1. I got a 2.25 for my P.E. class in the fist semester. Srsly now, who gets a grade like that for P.E.? I can't understand why my teacher gave me that. What did I do? What did I not do? He always said I lack enthusiasm for his class, but is that reason enough not to give me a higher grade? P.E. is not my favorite class, but i'm terribly, terribly bitter about this. It's P.E. for crying out loud~! >_>

It's been a long time since I read Harry Potter fan fiction, visited Mugglenet, and posted in the HP RPG I'm a member of. Sigh. I think I'll do all of those right now, while school is still out.

4. Now that I'm in college, I don't go out as much as I used to back in high school. It's so ironic, considering that back then I didn't know how to ride a jeepney on my own. XD

5. I have a stuffed panda bear named "George." but my dad insisted on giving it a Chinese name since all Panda bears must have Chinese names daw. So my sister gave him the name "Joji." I told them it sounded more Japanese-y than Chinese-y, but oh well. Whatever.

6. DBSK's "Balloons" music video changed my life. Srsly. :D

I was mistaken when I thought that I would update a lot during the sembreak. I've been free for an entire week yet this is still my third entry. Ahahaha. Come to think of it, I posted more entries when I still had schoolwork to think about. Heh. XD

So what I've been up to lately... Hmmm. Nothing much. I did manage to do things that don't involve screensucking. I cleaned my room and I went out with my friends... and... and... uhh, that's all, actually. *bricked* I didn't get around to organizing my high school stuff like I said I would... but I organized my computer files!! Sooo, hooray? XD

A movie review. Ish. I don't usually talk about the movies I watch, but this time, I really couldn't help it. This afternoon, I watched "The Seeker: The Dark is Rising" with bornwilde, Alyssa, and MM. Now that movie was LAME... but you know what? I enjoyed it. It was funny. Not the good kind of funny, but the "it's-so-ridiculous-i'm-LMAO" funny. The acting was bad, the plot was cliched and the lines were so cheesy. It was a bad mix of Harry Potter + Lord of the Rings + Alien vs. Predator. LOL. Oh, and have I mentioned that there were incest-y vibes going on? I kid you not. XD

I spent nearly two hours stressing over the fact that the CRSIS (aka my school's server) was not allowing me to confirm my subjects for the next semester. I was sooo frustrated because I couldn't enroll if I don't confirm my subjects beforehand. It was only a while ago that I received a text message from our block rep saying that the confirmation period starts tomorrow, not today. GAAAAH!!!

Oh, and my new mood theme is not working. IDK why. >_<

Eh, sort of. I still have one more session of NSTP tomorrow + a term paper and mini movie to pass by Friday.
But other than those, I'm FREEEEEE. *____*

And being the geek that I am, I made a list of my things to do for the next two weeks. Ahahahaha. Actually, I did this while I was studying for my math exam. Ehe. XD

1. ~~Clean my room.~~
2. Get rid of my high school stuff. Throw away my quiz papers, seatworks, etc. Donate the textbooks. As for my notebooks, I want to keep some of them while the rest (the ones that don't really have notes. heh.), I guess I'll donate them, too.
3. Catch up with my to-read list! I've read only two non-schoolbooks this semester: Naomi and Harry Potter 7.
These books have been left unattended since last summer:
- A Series of Unfortunate Events 13
- Confessions of a Mask
- Sophie's World (I told doublesharp I'll give this book one more try. Hopefully, I'll enjoy it this time. XD)
- Gossip Girl (e-book)
4. ~~Watch a movie in the cinema~~. Srsly. The last one I saw in a movie theater was HP5. That was months ago!
5. Check out DBSK's new music vids. (Are there any? *shot*) Catch up with DBSK. Period. I miss those guys. This is all JE's fault. X_X
6. Watch Attack on the Pin-Up Boys
7. Stalk Henry Lau. *___* (Yep, I'm joining the Henry bandwagon. Squeee.)
8. Watch Yamada Taro Monogotari (plus all the other jdramas I planned to watch but never did...)
9. ... and Hana Kimi (again!!)
10. Download and watch Gossip Girls.
11. ~~Organize stuff in ze PC~~. My desktop's a mess, honestly.
12. ~~Go through my unloved Yahoo! inbox~~. Meh. It's full of chain letters, updates, and stuff from my school's yahoo group. >_>
